South African Cargo Dues are SA Rand 2500 per 20 foot container and Rand 4900 per 40ft container

(including VAT) but are subject to change. These charges are additional to the above if they are not prepaid.

SERVICES INCLUDED ON HOUSEHOLD EFFECTS SHIPMENTS

• Normal customs clearance and port charges
• One direct delivery from port / airport to residence or store
• Complete unpacking and setting up at residence
• Removal of debris on the same day as delivery
• Return of container

SERVICES EXCLUDED ON HOUSEHOLD EFFECTS SHIPMENTS

• Taxes & Duties
• South African Cargo Dues & Destination Terminal Handling Charges
• NVOCC Charges
• Extraneous fees, bond fees and customs examination
• SA Police scanning costs (if applicable)
• Storage and warehouse handling
• Return of empty containers to depots beyond 100 kilometre radius of destination city
• Linehaul on containers from port to inland terminal on a through bill of lading where this has not been prepaid at origin
• Assembly of modular furniture requiring specialist tools and assembly, and hanging of curtains
• Deliveries above first floor unless there is a cargo lift available
• Specialised handling equipment

IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL NOTES

It is essential that the owner of the goods is in South Africa and has made contact with South Africa Relocations 10 working days before the arrival of the vessel at the port of entry. This is necessary in order to avoid demurrage. FCL container rates are based on delivery direct from the wharf or container terminal to the residence.

If guns are included in the shipment, add US$50 per consignment for the additional customs entry. Guns and motor vehicles require an import permit, which must be obtained prior to the shipment leaving the origin point.

COD shipments should be avoided. If necessary, a 10% collection fee will be levied to the client. All work is carried out as per our standard Standard Conditions of Contract.

• Normal customs clearance and port charges
• One direct delivery from port or terminal of entry to our warehouse at the destination city
• Devanning of vehicle from container
• Hand out at our depot
• Preparing the vehicle for the road

SERVICES EXCLUDED IN OUR RATES FOR MOTOR VEHICLE SHIPMENTS

• SA Cargo Dues
• Taxes, demurrage and extraneous fees
• Duty
• Customs examination fees and SA Police scan costs (if applicable)
• Storage
• Technical repair work, fuel and any unusual servicing required to make the car roadworthy
• Licence fee and insurance
• VAT
