Our Destination rate includes:

• Customs Clearance with normal custom documentation.

• Shipping documentation.

• Transport from sea POE or Bogotá Airport to residence in requested city in an area under normal conditions of access to a second floor, delivery, unpacking, location, collection of unpacking material

Our Destination rate excludes:

• DTHC (FCL: US $300)

• Inspections (FCL/LCL: US $600 estimated)

• Taxes or duties over 15% of the CIF value of the merchandise, if the client is a Colombian returning and accepts the 1565 law, the client does not pay taxes, diplomats do not pay taxes.

• Warehouses in port/airport (FCL/LCL: US $50 per day estimated)

• Expenses in port/airport (FCL/LCL: US $500 estimated)

• Deconsolidation

• Weight / volume change

• Difficult access

• Storage

• Parking permits

• Multiple deliveries

• Deliveries higher than 2nd floor

• Second mobilizations or transfers to warehouses and unforeseen events

• Work on weekends

• Additional handling

• Elevation

• Cranes

• Shuttle Service, SIT

• Long Carry, Stair Carry

• IKEA furniture assembly

Costs resulting from port congestion not included in rate

These additional costs are not included in our quote, and they require payment in advance that is itemized by an invoice with the specific expense(s).

Our priority is to minimize these costs!   

To help avoid extra costs, please:

• Negotiate with the shipping company at least 15 days off

• Send the list of electrical appliances with reference, model and brand.

• Do not use NVOCC submissions.

• Provide us the client's documentation at least 8 days before the boarding arrive at airport.

Do not dispatch until you have our Green Light!

In order to start customs clearance, Moving Services by Cargo will request an advance of funds for above port charges.

Our Quotation is valid for 60 days.

USD$ 50 for international Bank transfer. Delay in receiving this in advance will cause additional port charges.

The invoice of Moving Services is billed in US dollars. If the payment is made in Colombian pesos, you must cancel the TRM on the day of payment + COP 30, as long as it is not less than the one quoted. The rate is billed over the final shipment weight Antes de emitir B/L solicitar instrucciones.
