1. Validation of Quote: Valid until July 31, 2022.
2. Rate is not valid for customers coming to Japan with a "Student Visa" 
3. Rates are quoted in JPY ONLY and Invoicing in JPY ONLY.
4. The destination service rate excludes any and all Japan Side Port Charges, (DTHC, and any others and excludes the D/O fee)
5. Destination Charges do not include your "Bank Receiving and Sending of Funds" when sending a payment to International Moving Heavy Lift Cargo Japan. 
6. Consignment of this shipment to International Moving Heavy Lift Cargo Japan care is your agreement to all terms and conditions of the entirety of the quotation, also with your mandatory completion of the attached form: "Your Confirmation of Consignment to International Moving Heavy Lift Cargo Japan" and sent back by email to International Moving Heavy Lift Cargo Japan, before the dispatching of the shipment from the Port of Departure.
7. LCL shipments - the height of LIFT VANS or TRI-WALL CONTAINERS must not exceed the height dimension of 2 meters. LIFT VANS or TRI-WALL Container exceeding the height dimensions of 2 meters if used will incur extra charges and be billed back to you.
8. Disposal charges for wooden crates and wooden lift vans are not included in the quoted price and the disposal charge is JPY 1,500 per cubic meter.
9. If there are items that are created, indicate these crated items on the packing/inventory list with the length, width, and height. If there are pianos, indicate the type of piano, that is spinet, upright, baby grand, grand piano, or other similar items.
10. SAFES - indicate on the packing/inventory list the weight, with the length, width, and height. (Make sure it is not locked and make sure that the spinning tumbler, is fixed in an open position.) Send the safe empty.
11. Any Japan Side Port Charges that are excluded or sent on a collect base will be billed back to you unless otherwise instructed to send these to the customer which in this case, these charges are and must be received in full payment before the customers’ shipment can be released for delivery in full and or partial delivery and also with no access to take out the shipment or part of the shipment out from the warehouse by self and or by another third party. Arrange for all THC charges, DO charges and any other Japan Port Charges to be sent on a prepaid basis. – please check with the carrier you intend to utilize for their THC Japan Port Side charges. The Following, THC Japan Port Side and all other Japan Side Port Charges are for estimation purposes only LCL- - JPY 4,000 to JPY 7,000 per one cubic meter / for 20ft container – JPY 32,000 to JPY 36,000 per one B/L / for40ft and 40fthc – JPY 48,000 to JPY 52,000. Carriers DOC fee JPY 5,000 to JPY 10,000 per B/L (arrange for all THC charges, 
12. DO charges, and any other and all Japan Port Charges to be arranged and sent on a prepaid basis.) Check with the freight forwarder you intend to utilize as freight forwarders charges vary between freight forwarders) Any THC Japan Port Side and all other Japan Side Port Charges sent on a collect basis will be billed back to you. Please advise well in advance if the customer is to pay for these charges.
13. Narita International Airport Bonded Warehouse Storage Charge and Narita International Airport THC. Please note the below information and figures are on an actual air shipment that arrived at Narita Airport in June 2021. This information and figures are for reference only. Each airline carrier at each airport of entry in Japan has different costs for Airport Bonded Warehouse Storage Charges. For the exact Japan Airport Bonded Warehouse Storage Charge, it is highly recommended to contact and receive these costs directly from your air freight forwarder for these charges. 2 Days For 4 trunks total Gr. Volume: 1.069 at 178 Kilo Gram Volume Weight. From, the date of arrival of the shipment at Narita International Airport on June 1, 2021, was ¥ 4,800. From day 3 and for the following 7 days for 4 trunks total Gr. Volume: 1.069 at 178 Kilo Gram Volume Weight June 3 to June 10, 2021, was ¥ 7,000.  Each additional 7 days after the first 7-day period. For 4 trunks total Gr. Volume: 1.069 at 178 Kilo Gram Volume Weight was ¥ 7,000
14. Advise well in advance if the customer is to pay for any Japanese Port of Arrival Charges, THC, CFS, D/O fees, and any other Japan Side Port Charges.  
15. Do not include any food products including spices, herbs, and pet foods into the shipment – these items are prohibited from importation. (Even for Diplomatic Shipments) If included please note shipments customs clearance is extremely delayed by days and is very expensive as all the food products including spices, herbs, and pet foods must be removed from the shipment and properly disposed of with the Japan Customs Office.
16. Warehouse storage charges are JPY 4,500 per Gr. CBM - at a minimum chargeable volume of 5 Gr. CBM. Minimum chargeable 30 days (* 31 days is counted as 60 days of storage, *61 days is counted as 90 days of storage).  
17. "Bank Receiving and Sending of Funds" when sending a payment to International Moving Heavy Lift Cargo Japan. 
18. If all documentation is received from all concerned parties - that is from the agent, the customer, and the freight forwarders, and all invoices are paid in full from all concerned parties - that is from the agent, the customer the average time of delivery to the customer's residence for sea shipments is 7 to 10 days which includes the days required for customs clearance and for air shipments is 5 to 7 days which includes the days required for customs clearance and for air shipments is 5 to 7 days.

1. Original Japanese Customs Declaration Form "C5360"
2. Copy of Passport of the declarer of the Japanese Customs Form (Color Copy) and all family members declared on Japanese  Customs Form (Color Copy)
3. The Japanese Immigration Stamp of Date of Entry into Japan, stamped in the passport of the declarer of the Japanese Customs Form (Color Copy)
4. Copy of the frontside and backside of the Japanese Registration Card of the declarer of the Japanese Customs Form. (Color Copy)
5. Detailed packing inventory list in English or Japanese.
6. Ocean Bill of Lading / Air Waybill.
7. Keys /Combinations to any locked baggage. cabinets, safes, etc.
• Specific Information:
• The owner of the goods must be present in Japan prior to the Customs clearance.
• An Air Shipment Packing List requires a detailed value of the items.
• Note the attached example of the mandatory  Air Shipment Packing List  required by the Japan Air Custom Authorities.)
• Household goods and personal effects must be cleared within 6 months of the date of entry on the Customs declaration form C5360.

• Two Customs declaration forms must be completed in duplicate for unaccompanied articles
• Both forms must be submitted to the officials at the accompanied baggage inspection area upon arrival in Japan. One is retained by the Customs Office for the customs record. The duplicate will is returned with an official seal on it and returned to the customer before the customer exits from the Japan Customs Inspection line at the customer's arrival airport in Japan. 
• This certified duplicate  Customs declaration form C5360 is required for clearance of the unaccompanied articles and shipments.
• In the event the declaration form is not completed and certified by Customs officials upon entry, the shipment might be subject to duties and taxes. Newly purchased items are duty and tax-free up to2 JPY 200,000 in Japanese Yen/value per person, excluding a 10% consumption tax of the invoice.         
• The owner should keep receipts with English translation for new items, as duty and tax might be applicable.

Rate includes the following services:

1. Complete Japanese Customs Clearance application and processing.
2.  Inbound transportation from the Port of Entry to the customs inspection facility if the Japan Customs Office requests the shipment for a physical or an x-ray or both these customs inspections.
3.  Delivery to the up to and including the 2nd floor and residence with elevators to any floor.
4.  Delivery into the residence into indicated rooms.
5.  Unpacking of boxes to flat surface including place setting of furniture. Including simple easy assemble furniture that was taken apart by your crew at the origin address.  
6.  On the day of delivery disposal of unpacked packing materials of items indicated to be unpacked.
7.  Return of empty LCL lift-van or/and LCL Tri-wall Container to the warehouse for recycling and disposal purposes and return of the FCL containers to the container returning yard.
8.  Normal and easy road access from the port to the residence.
9.  Delivery to the residence with easy road access and easy access from the truck parking area to the entrance of the residence and easy access to rooms.

Rate excludes the following services: 

1. Abnormal and difficult access to roads from the port of entry to the residence. 
2. Adjustments to inventory lists that have PBO – Inventory lists must be a descriptive listing of the contents of boxes, packages, and bundles. 
3. Shuttle trucking.
4. Assembling of Ikea furniture (new or used), furniture (new or used) that requires a third-party furniture company and new furniture that requires a third-party- furniture company, and any furniture that was taken apart by your crew that is not easily assembled items requiring a third-party furniture company and garden furniture including swing and slide sets.
5. Disposal Fee of Wooden Crates (Note: at the cost of JPY 1,400 per one Gross CBM on the Crate's actual dimensions in a non-taken apart form.) Disposal of any package item. (disposal charges for any packing items are determined by the weight, size, and type of item.
6. Electrical connections for electronic items and items of Plumbing connections.
7. Sea B/L and Air B/L exchange fees & any demurrage fees.
8. Crane or outside an elevator and rope lifting.
9. Heavy items handlings - such as safes, marble items, and other such heavy items as Pianos and similar items heavy in nature.
10. Stair carries above the 2nd floor.
11. Long Carry of 30 meters or more.
12. Curbside Delivery.
13. Any services deemed to be "Out of the ordinary”
14. All port storage, demurrage, THC, Sea B/L, and Air B/L, exchange fees, and any other port charges. If the agent and or the customer do not provide all the required documents in time for a timely application for the process filing period to the Japanese Customs Office for Customs Clearance purposes. If the customer requests a delivery date after the Japanese Customs Clearance has been approved for import permission and requests a delivery date 2 days of entering our warehouse storage facility, warehouse charges will occur and invoiced to whom these charges are to be invoiced, and must be received in full before the shipment can be released in part or in full from our warehouse, including any 3rd party or direct access of the shipment.
15. The THC Charge, D/O fee, and any other Japan Side Port Charges may vary among shipping lines and freight forwards, and we highly recommend and request prepaying of these charges. These charges if sent on a collect base will be invoiced to you. 
16. For the THC Charge, D/O fee, and any other Japan Side Port Charges exact charges please check with the Shipping Line or the Freight Forwarder you intend to use.
17. We cannot collect THC and D/O fees from the shipper at the time of delivery.

1. Japanese houses and apartments are generally smaller than in Western countries.
2. Oversized furniture (e.g., couch, king-size mattresses, etc.) may not fit through entrance doors, staircases, and other access areas.
3. Due to road conditions, and traffic regulations /restrictions, ocean steel containers are inaccessible to the owner of the goods’ residence.
4. All shipments must be placed onto a smaller van from the container at a bonded warehouse on the day of delivery.
