Lift Van Size and Weight Assumptions

All rates are calculated based on standard lift vans with maximum dimensions of 220 × 120 × 220 cm, a maximum volume of 6.0 cbm, and a maximum gross weight of 800 kg per lift van.

Shipments exceeding these limits may be subject to additional charges.

Important Notice Regarding Destination Port Agent Selection and Destination Charges

To avoid unnecessary costs and operational delays, the selection of the destination port agent should always be coordinated with us prior to shipment booking.

Uncoordinated bookings may result in the use of higher-cost agents or service providers, which can significantly increase handling, storage, and administrative charges at the destination.

Please note that certain port-related and customs-related charges at the destination are not included in the quoted transportation rates and will be billed separately according to actual expenses incurred.

Customs & Documentation (Pre-Arrival Requirement)

Complete documentation must be submitted prior to arrival.

• Copy of Bill of Lading (B/L)

• Telex Release confirmation (mandatory – no original B/L required)

• Detailed inventory list in English or German

• Copy of passport (photo page)

• Copy of registration certificate (Anmeldung) in Germany

For Returning German Citizens

• Deregistration certificate from previous country of residence

• Proof of residence abroad for at least 12 months

For Foreign Nationals

• Work contract or assignment letter

• Copy of visa / residence permit 

Important Process Information – Warehouse Handling

All import shipments are handled exclusively through our warehouse. The lift vans are unloaded, and the shipment is subsequently delivered from our warehouse.

Incoming and outgoing movements of the shipment are carefully documented.

Each individual package is inspected upon storage. Therefore, it is mandatory that all packages are consecutively numbered.

Any detected damages will be documented photographically.
