Weekly Storage: $3.30 per cbm (min 10cbm) 

Storage In/Out $13.20 per cbm (min 10cbm) 

Shuttle: $22 per cbm (min $550.00)

Long Walk: $15.00 per cbm (min 10cbm) 

Over 2nd Floor: $15.00 per cbm (min 10cbm) 

Inside Elevator: $15.00 per cbm (min 10cbm) 

Outside Elevator: Approx. $220 per hour plus flat fee $1300.00 

Valet unpacking: $121.00 per hour min 4 hours allow 4.5 cartons per hour

Handyman: $220.00 per hour min 4 hours

Additional Carton Collection (when in area): $250.00

Upright Piano: $850.00

Baby Grand Piano: $1100.00

Grand Piano: $1450.00

Pool Tables and safes: $950.00 - 1250.00 (approx., please contact for rate)

 

Service Inclusions 

Rates offered are based on all items being internationally wrapped, packed, labelled, numbered, and invented with full descriptions. This is essential for customs/quarantine processing.

Rates do not apply to SOC/packed by owner containers or containers with raw/unwrapped items. Any shipment received that is not internationally packed, wrapped, labelled, numbered, and inventoried will incur additional charges and risk further examination costs by quarantine and customs. 

• * Processing and documentation for normal UPE’s
  * Uplift of container intact from port
  * Container transfer from the port to our depot
  * Return of empty container
  * Normal customs clearance
  * Delivery to ground floor or 1st floor if 1st is ground
  * Unwrapping & placement of furniture
  * Unpacking of professional packed cartons to benchtop/flat surfaces (not the floor)
  * Removal of debris on day of delivery
  * 10 business days bond storage from arrival date, all uncleared (customs/quarantine) shipments will incur
     bond storage thereafter until full clearance

Service Exclusions 

• * Local Port THC/Port Charges/Doc Fees/NVOCC Charges - ALL DTHC charges must be prepaid or will be
  billed back to agent +10% disbursement charge
  * Quarantine Inspection Charges
  * Quarantine Treatments Fees if ordered (including transport charges relating to treatment/fumigation)
  * Payment of Customs Duty and Sales or other Taxes
  * Customs Examination attendance or extensive Quarantine and associated costs
  * Port X-ray and similar customs fees when applicable
  * Demurrage Costs, Bond Charges, Container Detention Fees. Additional fees payable to third parties, eg
  freight forwarders NVOCC carrier (ALL DTHC charges must be prepaid or will be billed back to agent +10%
  disbursement charge) or intermediaries, insurance, container rental fees
  * Specialist services, ie. high rise/elevator deliveries, carpenters, cabinet makers, electricians, plumbers,
  appliance servicing, assembly or re-erection of modular furniture or flat packed furniture such as IKEA brand,
  including wall units etc, requiring specialist tools, including wall units, trampolines, climbing frames, and swing
  sets etc.
  * New furniture items, bunk beds and cots will not be assembled.
  * Special parking/permit cost
  * Special items such as pianos or other large furniture or other heavy or difficult to handle items
  * Delivery other than one direct delivery with reasonable access and delivery conditions (for a legally parked
  large delivery vehicle able to park adjacent to residence entrance), no long carries (ie. over 25 metres/75 feet),
  not above 1st floor (or one level), and no shuttle vehicles or cranes required
  * Motor Vehicles, Motor Bikes, Caravans, Motor Homes, Boats, Trailers etc mentioned in our quote are
  included to hand out
  * Vehicle Valuation and Documentary Asbestos Assessment Fee (Est AUD 550.00)
  

Comments 

Port Terminal Handling Fees:  It is recommended to pre-pay DTHC / Port Terminal Handling charges where possible as it is often much more cost-effective than at a local level.  Should Palmers Relocations pay these charges, it will be invoiced back to service agent at cost plus a 10% administration fee on invoice.
