INCLUDED IN OUR SERVICE:

• Normal Import customs clearance at POE (based on availability of all required documents prior to arrival of the shipment at POE)
• Direct transport from POE to residence (based on normal access)
• Unloading of HHG at residence up to 2^nd floor (1^st floor = ground floor; based on normal access)
• unpacking of household goods and one time placing on flat surface
• normal / simple setting-up of basic furniture such as beds and table legs
• Removal of debris on the delivery day
• Return of the container to local container terminal

EXCLUDED IN OUR SERVICE:

• Deconsolidation charges if not consigned to INTERMOVE in the first instance
• THC at POE (EUR 350,00 / 20ft. container and EUR 400,00 / 40ft. container) – if not prepaid
• Delivery beyond 2^nd floor (1^st floor = ground floor): EUR 5,00 / cbm per each additional floor)
• Arranging of parking suspension at delivery address (EUR 175,00 if required)
• long carry above 20m (EUR 5,00 / cbm per each additional 20m or fraction thereof)
• handling of heavy/bulky items
• Port storage / demurrage charges
• Return of container to POE as per cost (approx. EUR 750,00 per container. This charge occurs only if SSL does not / cannot use the local terminal at destination)
• Warehouse handling in/out charges (EUR 10,00 / cbm (min. 10 cbm))
• S. I.T. per week or fraction (EUR 2,50 / cbm) / storage insurance
• Re-delivery/transport charges ex warehouse to residence (EUR 10,00 / cbm)
• Shuttle Service at destination
• Customs duties and taxes / inspection / x-ray, fumigation (if any)
• 3^rd party services like plumber, electrician, carpenter etc.
• Handyman Services: EUR 45,00 / h (+ 2 h Trip Charge + EUR 125,00 Vehicle Charge if cannot be done from our own crew during delivery days)
• outside elevator, crane, hoisting etc.
• uncrating (EUR 20,00 / crate)
• difficult reassembling of furniture; maid services; hanging up of light fittings, pictures, paintings, wall units & shelves, curtain bars etc.
• Setting up / assembling of exercise machines of any kind (Charges of 3^rd party services as per cost + 25% administration fee)
• Import customs clearance under SOFA-Status of shipper
• multi-stop and/or multiple delivery addresses
• weekend and / or holiday labour
• labour outside normal business hours
• any costs, delays, import restrictions etc. which are caused due to the COVID-19 situation
• VAT if applicable

   

PAYMENT TERMS:

FIDI members are requested to pay within 30 days from date of invoice.

Payment of Non-FIDI members is required prior to release of the shipment.

Please note that in accordance with our management policy, all shipments are subject to pre-payment. Past experience has shown us that this is the only way to avoid unpleasant situations once the service has been rendered. We trust you can understand our position in this matter.

• Certificate of Registration with the German police ("Polizeiliche Anmeldung")
• Statement of Transfer from employer (in German if possible) should state the shipper was an employee for the company abroad, how long he/she has lived in this certain country, and will remain an employee of the company in Germany. This statement must show the shipper has lived in the country abroad for a period of min. one year!
• Alternate to the statement of transfer from the employer, the shipper can provide a statement from the German Embassy in the country abroad. This statement must show the shipper has lived in the country abroad for a period of min. one year!
• Copy of Passport (the page showing photo) and copy of Visa and/or Work Permit (for foreign citizens only)
