Port demurrages:

Sea port authorities are allowing us grace period of seven (7) calendar days from the shipment’s arrival, thereafter the below charges are to be applied:

·         USD 5.50 per ton per day based on the actual gross weight (including tare weight)

 

Container Detention:

The shipping line allowing us a free period of fifteen (15) calendar days from the actual arrival date thereafter the below charges are applied:

·         For 20Ft container USD 13.50 & for 40Ft container USD 27.00 per unit per day (the charges vary depending the SSL)

 

Auction Period:

If the shipment left two months in customs premises unattended, the Saudi Customs Authority have full right to auction the shipment with or without informing the consignee / agent even the carrier.

 

Our Liability:

If the shipment/items/goods is not insured, the liability of Four winds or its designated carrier/agents shall be limited to UAD 1.35 per kilogram or a maximum amount or USD  27.00 per box but the total amount not to exceed USD  135.00 per shipment in case of damage or loss of the box or shipment.  In the case of the carrier (Airlines and/or shipping lines and its transporters) the liability-will as a rule-also be limited in case of carriage subject to the regulation by airfreight or sea freight. Terms and condition are stated in the Air Waybill copy for airfreight shipments and combined transport Bill of Lading copy in the case of sea freight shipments.

Terms of payment:

We offer 30days credit for FIDI members and non-FIDI members are requested to send the quoted amount in advance prior to release the shipment to consignee.
