Thank you for your Import - Destination Rate enquiry. Here at Careline International Moving it is our hope that we have provided a competitive rate and we assure you and your shipper of our expert and excellent service. Our rate is based on the information below.
Import Inclusions
• Customs Clearance under TOR regulations
• Delivery to residence (ground floor access + 1 floor internally)
• Unpack to Flat Surface, unless a service to exclude this is selected
• Remove Material Debris on day of delivery
• Re-assemble standard furniture items (Beds, Tables)
Import Exclusions
• DTHC/NVOCC charges, including local port charges - if not prepaid will be charged back at cost plus 15%
• Re-assemble Kit Furniture (such as IKEA)
• Re-Assemble Trampolines / Swing Sets / Play Gym’s
• Import Duties or Taxes & additional admin charges associated with this
• Parking Permits
• Long Carry charges, over 25m
• Shuttle Services
• Stair Carry external to residence or above 1st Floor
• Piano / Heavy Lift items
• Car/motorbike/trailer/boat deliveries – please add ‘delivery via warehouse’ charge for shipments containing vehicles

We offer our destination rates based on the volume declared and services selected and we guarantee the best industry service operated with due care and attention, protecting our agent partners' reputations at all times. We operate with regard to all legislative requirements and with a professional and ethical approach to all stakeholders in the process.
Our rate is valid 30 days from date above and booking must be made two weeks before the move.
N.B. - Please note it is vital you pass the Import Requirements to your client as early as possible so your client is aware of the stringent document requirements. Please feel free to copy and paste the below information.
In order to customs clear your shipment Duty and Tax Free under the “Transfer of Residence” protocol you will need to fit certain criteria & we will need the following documents from you:
Criteria:
· If you are a returning citizen or have resided in Ireland before you must have lived outside Ireland for a minimum of 12 months
· For all importers you must be importing your goods within 12 months of arriving into Ireland
Documentation:
· Original Signed C&E1076 Customs Form (C&E Form attached – original to be posted to us)
· PPS Number declaration (TOR1 Form attached)
· Copy of your passport photo page
· Copy of your flight E-Ticket showing date of arrival in Ireland (this must match your declared date as per your C&E1076 Customs Form)
· Documentary evidence that you have resided abroad for at least one year. Please note we will need to submit an employer’s letter & a copy of a property lease agreement or mortgage letter & at least two other items such as: Old utility bills, bank letters or statements, insurance documentation etc. It is important that we provide several documents to corroborate and support the application. (Minimum 4 different pieces)
· Documentary evidence that you are now taking up permanent residence in Ireland - Employer’s letter, property lease documents, new utility bills, bank letters or statements, mobile phone set up invoice or letter are all very useful. Again it is important that we provide several documents. (Minimum 4 different pieces)
· Documentary evidence you have owned and used vehicle for a minimum of 6 months prior to shipping (if applicable)
Customs Clearance will usually be confirmed within 2-5 working days of your shipment arriving into port & assuming that all documentation is in order.
Please Note : We need your import documentation in our possession 10 days prior to the arrival of the shipment. We only get 5 free days storage at the port **This does not apply to Maersk shipping line**.
Documents submitted late may result in Port Storage and Demurrage charges arising.

Payment
- Credit Terms by agreement only
- Others; advance payment before clearance and delivery.
Wooden Material
All wooden material, crates, liftvans, bulk heads etc to all EU countries must be made of treated wood per the International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures no 15 (ISPM15) and with certified stamp.
Vehicles – loaded with HHG in container
Vehicles will be unloaded at our warehouse in Dublin or Cork. Shipper must personally collect the vehicles at our warehouse. 5 days free storage.
All containers containing vehicles/motorbikes/trailers/boats/etc. will need to be delivered via our warehouse. If this is applicable, the relevant handling charge will be applied and the ‘delivery via warehouse’ charge.
Access
If access at Destination Address is unsuitable for unloading of 20ft/40ft on-site the ‘delivery via warehouse’ rate will be applicable.
