FCL Calculation Basis
|
Our FCL rates are based on the port of entry Rotterdam or Antwerp as well as the return of empty containers to the nearest terminal (Mainz, Germany).
|
For the container return (drop-off charge), a maximum amount of €75.00 has been calculated. Any higher drop-off costs will be recharged proportionally based on actual expenses incurred.

Operational Requirements – FCL Import Germany
Empty Container Return (Mandatory)
Before booking with the shipping line, it must be ensured that the empty container return (drop-off) is possible in Mainz, Germany.
Accepted shipping lines with depot in Mainz:
• YML
• CMA CGM
• COSCO
• Hapag-Lloyd (HPL)
• Maersk
• Evergreen
• OOCL
• ONE
• MSC (return option expected shortly)
The booking party is responsible for securing Mainz return. Any deviation will result in additional drop-off charges.
Free Time at Port of Entry (Binding Requirement)
• Minimum 7 days demurrage
• Minimum 14 days detention
• Or 14 days combined demurrage/detention
Insufficient free time will result in additional charges.
Customs & Documentation (Pre-Arrival Requirement)
Complete documentation must be submitted prior to arrival:
• Copy of Bill of Lading (B/L)
• Telex Release confirmation (mandatory – no original B/L required)
• Detailed inventory list in English or German
• Copy of passport (photo page)
• Copy of registration certificate (Anmeldung) in Germany
For Returning German Citizens
• Deregistration certificate from previous country of residence
• Proof of residence abroad for at least 12 months
For Foreign Nationals
• Work contract or assignment letter
• Copy of visa / residence permit
Important Process Information – Warehouse Handling

All import containers are handled exclusively through our warehouse. The containers are unloaded, and the shipment is subsequently delivered from our warehouse.
|
Incoming and outgoing movements of the shipment are carefully documented.
|
Each individual package is inspected upon storage. Therefore, it is mandatory that all packages are consecutively numbered.
|
Any detected damages will be documented photographically.
