- Normal customs filing and import clearance
- Transportation of shipment from Port/Airport of entry to client residence
- Delivery to destination based on normal access (up to 2nd floor, with or without elevator)
- Unloading/unpacking and placing glassware, electronics, clothing, and other items onto a flat surface
- Assembly of basic furniture
- Debris removal on delivery day
- Return of empty container
EXCLUSIONS:
- DTHC / SSL charges
- Customs Duty and Taxes, if any
- Port charges
- Special handling of bulky/heavy items such as piano, pool table, safe, gym equipment, chandelier, etc.
- NVOCC charges
- Re-assembly of furniture that requires excessive labor (e.g., German Schrank, IKEA furniture)
- Accessorial charges such as storage & warehouse handling, difficult access (shuttle, long carry, extra stops)
- Demurrage, detention, per diem, shipping line, and GRI charges
- Labor union charges (applicable only in Kerala and Pune)
- Post-delivery day debris removal
- Long carry above 75 ft
- Stair carry above 2nd floor
- Shuttle service
PAYMENT TERMS:
- 30 Days credit provided for FIDI members upon request. If you are not a member or if credit has not already been established with Universal Relocations, then payment is required prior to delivery of the shipment.
QUOTE VALIDITY:
- This quotation is valid for 60 days as per currency exchange rate of today. Once expired, please contact us for a revised quotation.
ACCESSORIAL CHARGES:
- Container Overnight Halting: $25/day
- IKEA Furniture Dismantling and Assembling: $10/hour/2 men
- Long Carry above 75 feet: $0.12/cft per 75 ft
- Stair Carry above 2nd Floor: $0.12/cft/floor
- Storage Charges: $0.25/cft/month (minimum $25)
- One-Time In and Out Handling: $0.25/cft (minimum $20)
- Upright Piano Handling: $75
- Grand Piano Handling: $250
- Grandfather Clock Handling: $50
