Our rates Includes :

 

  1. Normal customs filling and import clearance
  2. Transportation of shipment from the Port/ Airport of entry and
  3. delivery to destination based on a normal access (up to 2nd floor, w/o elevator)
  4. Unloading, unpacking, and placing china, glassware, clothing and

other items onto a flat surface, placement of boxes in respective rooms

  1. Debris removal on delivery day
  2. Reassembly of Basic furniture’s that does not require specialist or 3rd party trade assembly (any item that requires two or more people over 30 minutes to service is deemed as 3rd party service)
  3. Return of empty container(for FCL)
  4. Building liability insurance, if required
  5. ISF Charges (Sea)- USD 40
  6. ISC Charges (Air)- USD 200

 

Our Rate Excludes

 

1.   Customs Vacis and Intensive Examination

2.   Port and CFT charges if any

3.   Special handling of bulky/ heavy items such as- piano, pool table, hot tub, safe, stone sculptures, gym equipment, chandelier; etc.

4.   Reassembly of furniture that requires excessive labor such as-German Schrank, IKEA or new & ready-to-assemble.

5.   Third party services for assembling furniture’s (bunk/ storage bed or wardrobes/ shelving units), appliance servicing, electrician, plumbing, maid, and handyman services AUTO handling & repairing charges

6.   Storage & warehouse handling, difficult access

7.   Shuttle Service, Long Carry ( Above 75feet) or stair carry (Above 2nd floor )extra stops and special parking permits/ tickets if required

8.   Demurrage, detention, per diem and GRI charges

9.   Labor on weekends/ holidays and waiting charges

10.        DTHC at seaport of entry: LCL approx. USD 75/ CBM & FCL approx.USD 250 for 20’FT & USD 375 for 40’FT

11.        DTHC at airport of entry: approx. USD 0.25/KG

12.        custom inspection fees due to importation of food/ alcohol, pier pass (if applicable) and Intensive examination charges (FCL)

13.        Post-delivery day debris removal and Chassis fees after 3 days (for FCL)

 

14.        Any shipment to Alaska, Guam & Hawaii must be loaded in lift van based on actual volume

 

 

Payment Terms

 

30 Days credit provided for FIDI members upon request. If you are not a member or if credit has not already been established with Universal Relocations, then payment is required prior to delivery of the shipment.
