Australian port infrastructure fees were introduced as of 1 March 2020 and apply to all FCL shipments and billable at $450.00 AUD per container (20ft or 40ft)

Rates offered are based on all items being internationally wrapped, packed, labelled,numbered and invented with full descriptions. This is essential for customs/quarantine processing.

Rates do not apply to SOC/packed by owner containers or containers with raw/unwrapped items.Any shipment received that are not internationally packed, wrapped, labelled, numbered and inventoried will incur additional charges and risk further examination costs by quarantine and customs.

Transport of container from POE / Terminal to Palmers Depot
Mandatory quarantine inspection & lodgement fees
Standard clearance of effects through both customs and quarantine
Single delivery to ground / first floor residence
Unwrapping of personal effects and placement of furniture in desired location
Unpacking of fragiles and effects to benchtop surface
Assembly of basic furnishings
Removal of packing debris on the day of delivery
Return / De-hire of container
Provision of ICR to origin agent

Service Exclusions

Local Port / THC / NVOCC charges or other fees payable to obtain shipment
Quarantine Inspection Charges
Ordered treatment / disposal / fumigation by Australian Quarantine
Additional examinations for quarantine if required / specially requested
Payment of customs duties or associated taxes
X-Ray fees, demurrage, container detention fees or third party payments
Parking or permit costs if required
Handout of vehicles/motorbikes from our warehouse only
Assembly / Re-erection of flat flacked, modular, IKEA of new furniture
Heavy items such as safes, billiard tables or pianos unless notified & quoted
Delivery to difficult access residence or above first / ground floor where stairs, lift or long carriesrequired

Comments

Port Terminal Handling Fees: It is recommended to pre-pay DTHC / Port Terminal Handling charges where possible as it is often much more cost-effective than at a local level. Should Palmers Relocations pay these charges, it will be invoiced back to service agent at cost plus a 10% administration fee on invoice.
