Customs prescriptions :
• Clients need to come physically to Bulgaria, enough time in advance before shipment arrives to ensure preparing all documents. Otherwise there is risk of delays and extra storage and demurrage charges. • Duty free import is granted when responding to requirements of Council Regulation 1186 (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/eli/reg/2009/1186/oj) and only at Regional Customs Office taking in consideration the address (shown on Customers BG ID card). • In case such ID card has not been obtained yet while the procedure for obtaining ID card has started, it is possible to establish refundable deposit to Customs of approximate 5.3% duty and 20% VAT of CIF destination value. • Declared value in the pro-forma invoice could be accepted to be EUR 1 per 1 kg plus invoice for transport – with final purpose to form CIF value at destination for the shipment. • In the event that cleint does not qualify for free of duties & taxes import, he/she can pay duties and taxes or consult with AGS the opportunity to pay for storage in transit at a Customs-bounded warehouse. • Duty free import does not qualify for new goods or furniture, commercial quantities of any used articles, excise goods and liquor, commercial vehicles, articles for use in the exercise of a trade or profession.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
AGS requiresthe prepayment of services, based on our legal invoice. We suggest that youconfirm the pre-payment details at the time of consigning to AGS services toavoid delays in customs clearance and delivery of the shipment. AGS extends a 30-day credit ONLY to OMNI,FIDI, LACMA, HHGFA members or partners who have established credit terms withus (credit terms as set by AGS Debtors/Creditors division). All other agentsmust pay before rendering any services. Our price is based on the advised volume (gross weight for airfreight)and density of 6.5 Lbs per Cuft. If the actual volume deviates from theestimated volume or strong currency fluctuations occur, the basic price issubject to re-calculation.
