Included Services: • Standard customs clearance and formalities • Container / lift van transport from port/terminal of entry in Panama (surcharges may apply for out-of-city destinations) • Delivery to client's residence or storage facility (up to 2nd floor)• Unloading, unpacking, and basic furniture assembly • Positioning of items as directed • Same-day removal of packing materials • Return of empty container to port (FCL)
Not Included Services: • DTHC (Destination Terminal Handling Charges): $350 - $450 per container (FCL) • Taxes (if applicable) and Customs duties: $107 (Household Goods) • Demurrage & detention fees: $125 per day (if applicable) Approx • Insurance: 3% of declared value (upon request) • Delays due to strikes or civil unrest • Storage fees (if required) • Fiscal Bond $550(for vehicles) • Costs associated with random inspections by authorities • Difficult access charges (e.g., elevator use, external lifts) • Stair climbing beyond 1st floor outside the residence • Third-party services (e.g., handyman work) • Specialized assembly (e.g., IKEA furniture, pool tables, trampolines)
Additional Services (Priced Separately): • Shuttle service: $160 per day • Upright piano moving: $275 • Baby grand piano moving: $215 • Vehicle handling: $480 (includes traffic authority registration - plate) • Uncrating of items from third parties: $35 each • Additional transport: $255 per day • Storage: $24.50 per CBM monthly (plus $125 in/out fee) • Placing unpacked items inside furniture: $100 per (if applicable).
Customer Responsibilities: • Coordinate moving dates with building management for elevator reservations and area clearance• Be aware that additional items will incur extra costs • Ensure a client representative is present throughout the move to direct item placement
Required Documents: • Copy of visa document • Original passport (required for migration seal, processing may take 2-4 days) • For diplomats: Letter from embassy of origin stating new assignment and start date • Client must be in Panama (5) day before the shipment arrives.
Important Notes: EXTREME MOVERS PTY is not responsible for delays due to lack of building coordination • The company is not liable for misplaced items if not directed by the client or representative • All receipts for additional charges (e.g., demurrage, inspections) will be provided to the client • The company has no control over random inspections by authorities • Please request at least 10 days off upon arrival at your destination to avoid incurring in demurrage
