Remarks

Customs clearance process normally takes 2-3 days if all paperwork is in order.

IMPORTANT NOTES:  

• Any alcohol beverages, medicines, food and new items are not acceptable for transportation
• Please wait for our green light before dispatch of the shipment
• Please take into account important information about duties and taxes in Kazakhstan: in our country every client, which has no diplomatic status, must pay import customs duties and taxes, which calculated like EUR 2 per 1 kg except 31 kgs free. It means, for example, if cargo’s weight 50 kgs gross, it will be (50 – 31) * 2 = EUR 38, which should be paid to Kazakh customs directly. Exclusion – if client is returning citizen of Kazakhstan, who has certificate of Consular Registration and has been registered for more than 1 year to present moment or if client is foreign resident, who has all of needed paperwork, so then he might be exempted from duties on importation of used personal belongings. Otherwise the client will have to pay 2 EUR per kg.
• When calculating we accept that each cbm gross of used HHG&PE contains 100 kg gross. If the density of cargo will be higher, than indicated, then our rates will be revised.

 Our rates include:

• Customs clearance of used personal belongings
• Reloading at customs warehouse, delivery to residence
• Unloading & Unpacking services, assembly of furniture, removal of used packing materials at the same day

 Our rates exclude: 

• Physical customs inspections/X-ray charges/Quarantine examination;
• Duties and customs fees, taxes
• Bonded storage and warehouse handling, demurrage;
• Handling of heavy items like safes, electronics, pianos, complex furniture,dangerous goods, stair carry above second floor, and etc., as well as any third party fees;
• Holidays / weekend / overtime work
• Insurance
• THC and storage in Almaty/Nur-Sultan
• Delivery in case of difficult access
• Stairs carry above second floor – USD 2,5 per cbm/per floor
• Storage at warehouse of Intermovex – USD 8 per cbm/per month or part of month (two weeks free of charge)
• Diplomatic shipments (price available after request to info@intermovex.kz)
• Provision of services in another cities than Almaty/Nur-Sultan (price available after request to info@intermovex.kz)

 

Additional services

Storage at warehouse of Intermovex if required - USD 8, - per 1 cbm (per month or part of month)

Special Notes:

• Our rate can change if final weight/volume is different from quoted weight/volume. Our final rate will be based on volume / weight (whichever is greater) according to the Transport documents;
• Payment: 5 days after Invoice date and 100 % prepayment if credit terms are not pre-agreed and from private persons;
• Quotation is valid within 30 days from the day of issue. Freight tariffs are valid on the date of quote and may change if these are different on the date of dispatching. Rates depend on manifestation especially of a violent or destructive natural force, such as a lightning strike or earthquake that is beyond human power to cause, prevent, or control.
