RATES INCLUDE                

*DTHC / terminal handling for import FCL and FCL groupage shipments       

*Import FCL cargo dues / port fee

*Collection from seaport, or Johannesburg inland terminal, or LCL depot / airport of entry

*Normal FCL release fee to shipping line        

*Delivery to residence within 50km radius / normal access

*Unloading into residence up to 2nd floor         

*Un-crating up to 3 items                 

*Unwrapping of furniture and setup                

*Debris removal on delivery day                 

*Turn in of empty container to local depot only         

*Vehicle handover at depot if included                

*Basic assembly of items not requiring special tools / tradesmen

 RATES EXCLUDE                

*Random customs inspection related charges if ordered.

*Shuttle service if required / long carry charged at US$8 per CBM (minimum US$100 ). 

*Unpacking of cartons unless agreed. We have found that clients prefer to unpack at their leisure when they know what to place where.

*Handling upright piano, grand piano, pool table etc charged at US$150 per item.

*NVOCC release charges. Please always prepay. If left collect this will be +- US$175 per CBM and LCL agents’ deconsolidation rates all differ. If not prepaid, will be billed at cost + 10%.

*Any third-party release fees. Please always consign ocean bill of lading to Econo Trans to avoid this.

*Port storage / demurrage / detention if incurred due to late documentation, customs inspection order etc.

*Commercial customs clearance for clients not qualifying for duty free entry of HH goods or vehicles, will be charged at US$150 additional. Please be guided by the attached docs.        

*Any duties or taxes if applicable.                 

*Storage if requested by client: charged at US$3,80 per cubic meter per month (minimum US$25/month) PLUS, handling fee once off US$ 5,70 per cubic meter (minimum charge US$50). For FCL shipments unloaded at warehouse for storage, re-delivery ex store is charged at US$25 / cbm. Vat at 15% is charges on the above if billed to client directly.

*For FCL containers collected at Johannesburg inland terminal, rates exclude turn in fee to Durban, or "drop off fee"  if demanded by shipping line. Please check with your provider and prepay if applicable.

*Airline handling fees. Billed at cost + 10% of not prepaid

Comments:

*Vehicles shipped with household goods must always be loaded at container doors.

*For LCL shipments please always notify clients of possible expected post-arrival charges of +- US$175 per cbm if not prepaid. These rates can vary - please always prepay where possible.

*Household goods shipments not qualifying for duty free entry will attract combined duty / vat of +-40% on average based on 2nd hand values. Such shipments will also require separate import permits for each HS code, so please always check with us before shipment. Our charge for applying for and obtaining such import permits is US$15 per HS code / permit required.
